Sea Shell Holiday Home: General Features
The idea of opening a holiday home in Riposto was born first and foremost from our love for travel and our passion for hospitality.
We firmly believe that welcoming travelers is also for us an opportunity for cultural enrichment (a bit like traveling!) and we are always happy to help our guests discover and understand all the facets of our land.
Our goal is to make your holiday in Sicily an experience to remember with joy.
After all, we know well that the success of a vacation depends above all on a peaceful and comfortable stay!
During your stay you will have the entire apartment at your complete disposal. It measures 85 square meters and consists of two bedrooms, a large living room, a fully equipped kitchen, a bathroom, a courtyard, and a private garden.
The privacy of an independent apartment with the support of the hosts for any need
We, the owners, live in another apartment in the same building, on the upper floor. The presence of the owners nearby is a strength of the Sea Shell holiday home.
This way, if necessary, we can promptly meet any of your needs while at the same time guaranteeing you maximum privacy.
The Living Room
The Sea Shell holiday home is located on the ground floor, with independent access through a large entrance hall that leads directly into the living room. This is a very spacious room with high ceilings (a feature of the whole house, always much appreciated by our guests).
From here you can access the sleeping area on one side and the other rooms of the house on the opposite side. The dining area has a table for 6 people (extendable) with matching chairs, while the relaxation area includes a sofa and 2 armchairs. Completing the space is a large window overlooking the inner garden.
Master Bedroom (3 Guests)
The sleeping area consists of two bedrooms. The larger one has a double bed and a single bed, both in wrought iron, with bedside tables and lamps.
The furnishings also include a sliding-door wardrobe and a six-drawer dresser where you can comfortably store your belongings. This bedroom is also equipped with air conditioning.
Twin Bedroom (2 Guests)
The smaller bedroom is often loved by kids (but is also perfect for adults!) thanks to its fun and comfortable bunk bed. The top bed is a large single with an integrated metal ladder.
Both beds have a small shelf, a reading lamp, and an electrical outlet. The room also has a six-drawer chest and a low table.
Fully Equipped Kitchen
The white modular kitchen has plenty of storage space and is equipped with everything you might need during your stay. You’ll find sets of plates and glasses, coffee cups, pots, cutlery, tea towels, tablecloths, and more.
The built-in appliances, in addition to the stove, include a refrigerator, freezer, and oven. A kettle and a microwave are also available.
In the kitchen there is a small table with cheerful colored chairs, while the peninsula can serve as a practical worktop for preparing your favorite dishes. The sink faces a large sliding window overlooking the courtyard. We also provide a washing machine (6 kg capacity), iron, and ironing board.
Bathroom
The bathroom has a window overlooking the inner garden. The sink integrates a cabinet with doors, three drawers, and a large mirror. There is also a bidet and a spacious shower box.
The bathroom is supplied with several sets of towels (enough to cover guests’ needs for the entire stay), shower gel, soap, shampoo, and a hairdryer.
Garden
A short hallway leads to the outdoor area. The courtyard is furnished with a wooden table and two benches, a large umbrella, and sun loungers, creating the ideal setting to enjoy meals, sip a drink, or simply relax after a day at the beach, while breathing in the scent of a jasmine plant that has been “watching over” the courtyard for more than half a century!
The courtyard extends into a lovely garden with delicate gardenias, petunias, ferns, geraniums, lantanas, and hydrangeas. There is also a tall palm, bay trees, and oleanders, whose leaves fill the area with green and freshness.
